One of the least explored treks in the Indian Himalayan region. Pin Bhaba trek is classified as a difficult trek. From the thick forest of Kinnaur to cold desert via bhaba pass trek is one of the most beautiful treks of the region. You start form an altitude of 7878 feet and you trek up to an altitude of over 16200 feet (one of the highest pass in himachal ). The drastic change in the altitude and oxygen level will make your trek difficult. Bhaba pass is one of the least explored treks in the Indian Himalayan region act as a bridge between the rich Kinnaur Valley and barren landscape of Spiti. Thus the Bhabha Pass Trek fascinates you with its changing naturescape of Kinnaur valley to the Stark cold desert of Spiti valley. The journey becomes more adventutous as it crosses two other major mountain passes, the Kunzum Pass at 4,551 mtrs and Rohtang Pass at 3,987 mtrs.

The Bhabha Pass trek is one of the most difficult treks in the Himachal Pardesh that changes its landscape at every turn. Hence it is recommended only for trekkers having prior experience of high altitude trekking with proper skills.

Trek Guide

DAY 1: Shimla to Kafnu (5-6hrs) from Shimla

DAY 2: Trek from Kafnu (7878ft) to Muling (10600ft) 8hrs, 10 km

DAY 3: Trek from Muling (10600ft) to Karah (11650ft) 5hrs, 5km

DAY 4: Trek from Karah (11650ft) to Phutirang (13400ft) 5hrs, 5km

DAY 5: Trek from Phutirang (13400ft) to Bara Balder (14670) via Pin Bhaba Pass (16200ft) 9hrs, 12km

DAY 6: Trek from Baldar (14670ft) to Mudh (12283ft) 7hrs, 10 km

  • Maximum height to gain is 16,200 ft above the sea level
  • The itinerary may be changed on weather conditions
  • Trek can be cancelled on weather conditions
  • This is a tough trek so don’t take it lightly as a picnic, Adventure or holidays
  • Get prepared mentally and physically for this Tough Terrain
  • Strictly prohibited of smoke and drink during the Trek
  • If the Number of days increases due to any reason road block, Strikes, Govt. Ban etc extra charges Rs 2000/- will be charged per day
  • There will be no provision of stay at last day of the trek (Sangla)

Personal Utilities
Climate

Day temperature in the sun is pleasant and windy but nights are cold. The temperature at night with rain and snow can really go down; sometimes below zero so you must be well prepared

Trek Logistics

Services provided during the trek accommodation in 2 men tents (high altitude alpine tents of good quality), heavy foam pad matters, sleeping bags, breakfast/tea, all meals, services of experienced guide and cook, camping and technical equipment, utensils, adequate medical kit, transportation during the trek.

Fitness

A good body fitness is necessary to enjoy the high altitude and trek to the fullest. Following can help you prepare for the trek.

  • Jogging 5kms in half an hour for stamina
  • Planks and squats for muscle strength
  • Stretching for flexibility
  • Uphill Training
  • Squats
  • Crunches
Cancellation terms

We must receive notification of cancellation in writing on beautifulcoordinates@gmail.com. Refunds will be calculated on the day of the receipt of the written instruction on cancellation.

Note:-

  • Beautiful Coordinates holds the right to change/cancel the policies, without prior notice.  
  • Change of trek batch is dependent on the availability of seats in the batch.
  • In case of transferring a trek to a friend, he/she should satisfy all the mandatory requirements put forward by us.

For the cancellation Policy:

No refund will be done in cash. For the cancellation of trek services due to any reasons (avoidable/unavoidable), we must be notified of the same in writing.

Cancellations prior to 30 days from the start of the trek

Book any trek till one year or get  90% refund.

(Note: If the trek charges are more, the balance needs to be paid by the trekker)

Cancellation between 30 days and 18 days to the start of the trek

Choose to go for the same trek, with any other batch or other trek till year or get 60% refund.

(Note: If the trek charges are more, the balance needs to be paid by the trekker)

Cancellation between 18 days and 10 days to the start of the trek

Choose to go for the same trek, with any other batch or get 30% refund.

Cancellation less than 10 days to the start of the trek

Transfer your trek (same trek, same batch) to your friend. No refund.

NOTE: Normally our company expect to carry your personal luggage on your own, if you don’t want to carry your backpack so you can give it to porter, but you have to inform us in advance and have to pay Rs.350/- extra per day per bag.
